IN LINE WITH GUILDLINES PROVIDED BY PUBLIC HEALTH ENGLAND
THESE ARE NEW PRECAUTIONS AND GUILDLINES THAT HAVE BEEN INTRODUCED TO ALLOW MY COMPANY TO SAFELY VISIT AND CARRY OUT WORK IN YOUR PROPERTIES.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THESE PRECAUTIONS/GUILDLINES HAVE BEEN PUT IN PLACE FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES SAFETY AND WELL BEING AS WELL AS MY OWN AND MY COLLEAGUES .
HOPEFULLY IF WE CAN FOLLOW THESE PRECAUTIONS AND WORK TOGETHER SO WE CAN ALL STAY SAFE AND WELL DURING AND AFTER THIS PROCESS.
PRE VIEWING AND QUOTATIONS OF WORKSITES
1 Before visiting to quote/view you will be called to ask if you or a member of your family have or showing any symptoms relating to the virus. If you have symptoms, then another date will be made. And require the test to be taken. Proof will be required of relevant tests before revisit. Please be honest.
2 Upon arrival as in line with public health England, social distance rules of 2m will be followed where possible. if this cannot be implemented then the 1m+ will apply, as will a face covering be worn by both parties.
3 Please if possible, can clients make sure that the areas/rooms which need visiting for the quotation be well ventilated before and during visit, plus doors are open so physical contact with them is kept to a minimum. Gloves will be worn should the need to come in contact with property be necessary for view or quote.
Working in and outside of properties
1 Before any work is started you will be called to ask if you or a member of your family have or showing any symptoms relating to the virus. If you have symptoms, then another date will be made. Proof will be required of relevant tests before revisit. If work has to be cancelled due to symptoms or you have the virus, please contact as quick as possible so other arrangements can be made.
2 Any materials that have been acquired before cancellation will require payment unless they can be returned.
3 Before work is started areas that require work well need to be clear of obstacles and personal items so to avoid too much contact. And sanitize area where work will be carried out prior to work commencing.
4 Please keep work areas well ventilated prior to arrival and during time in property.
5 All entrances to locations of work site, need to be clear and open, again this is to avoid as much contact as possible to areas and items used by myself and others while in property (i.e. handles)
6 Upon arrival the social distancing rules of 2m will apply as in line with public health England. these rules will be in place where possible inside the property. The more space given will help the work continue unhindered.
7 Any work carried out in a bathroom where there is only one in the property. Clients will need to make other arrangements while work is carried out.
8 Any materials delivered prior to work commencing should be left untouched by clients for at least 12 hrs i.e. flat pack, appliances, etc. or gloves must be worn if needed to move before arrival.
9 Clients to sanitise area where work to be carried out prior to visit and sanitise after work has been completed.
10 By working in your property we are creating a bubble, so it would be appreciated and incredibly grateful if visitors could be kept to a minimum while working in your property.
11 Where work is an ongoing job i.e. more than a day then should you need to enter the area you will need to take precautions i.e. wear gloves and sanitize anything you come in contact with, this is for your safety and mine.
12 Masks will need to be worn when in close proximity to others regardless of age.
This list of precautions can and probably will change from time to time. But please remember these guidelines have been put in place to keep us all safe during these uncertain times.
